Cathy's work in the mental health profession began in 2003. She provides individual therapy to the adult population. Her education consists of two master's degrees; one in Counseling Psychology and the other in Forensic Psychology. The counseling psychology component
allows her to provide therapy in a more traditional talk style and the Forensic Psychology enables her to specialize in psychology within the legal system, such as: working within prisons, jails, courts, parole, and probation.
Cathy specializes in various types of trauma including physical,emotional, and sexual abuse, assault, molestation, and incest. Additionally, she focuses on mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and issues surrounding adjusting to new situations.
Cathy's work experience includes psychotherapy, comprehensive assessments, attorney consultations,court testimony, educational briefings related to mental health, and court-ordered sex offender evaluations and
treatment. Cathy is honored to treat people from all walks of life and She also takes great pride in providing treatment to the following:
