CATHY CASSIDY, M.A., MS., LCPC
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
Clinical/Forensic Therapist, Clinical Director
My journey in the mental health profession began in 2003, and I have since been dedicated to providing individual therapy for adults. I hold two master’s degrees—one in Counseling Psychology and another in Forensic Psychology.
My background in Counseling Psychology enables me to offer traditional talk therapy, while my expertise in Forensic Psychology allows me to specialize in the intersection of psychology and the legal system. This includes experience working within prisons, jails, courts, parole, and probation settings.
I specialize in trauma therapy, addressing a range of traumas, including physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, assault, molestation, and incest. Additionally, I work extensively with mood disorders such as depression and anxiety and support individuals navigating challenging life adjustments.
My professional experience includes providing psychotherapy, conducting comprehensive assessments, consulting with attorneys, offering court testimony, leading mental health educational briefings, and performing court-ordered sex offender evaluations and treatment.
